Sarv's Potato and Chick Pea Starter
This is a recipe from India

If you cook the chickpeas and potatoes ahead, this is a very quick starter.

For the cheat’s version you could use tinned chickpeas but don't tell Sarv's mum. It is not as special.

Serves 6-8

Ingredients
3 medium potatoes, boiled and chopped
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1 small onion, chopped
1 small tomato chopped
Fresh coriander, chopped
Salt and pepper
Lemon juice
1 tsp. roasted, ground cumin seeds

Method
Mix all the ingredients except the coriander which you should use for garnish
