Menu Maker: Recipes from Class 5 at West Twyford

Negin's Ghormeh Sabzi

This is a traditional meat dish from the Middle East

Serves 4-8 (depending on amount of meat used)

M (see abbreviations)

Ingredients
handful parsley, chopped
handful tarragon, chopped
2 Lemons
½ can red kidney beans
Oil
Spices (turmeric, pepper, salt)
Coriander
Onion
Meat (pieces of lamb leg, chopped)

Method
1. Chop the onions
2. Fry in some of the oil and add the chopped meat to brown
3. Add turmeric and black pepper
4. Add 2 glasses of water
5. Chop the herbs finely and fry in a small pan
6. Add herbs to the meat mixture
7. Cover and cook on a low heat for two hours
8. and ENJOY!!!
