Berlie Doherty

Try to write a little every day. You could have a notebook and jot down what you see and hear, things that make you laugh or cry, places that are mysterious or spooky, what it feels like to be lonely or angry, describe someone who looks interesting or odd, something that stops you in your tracks because it's wonderful.

This notebook will be your treasure chest, and you can dip into it any time you want something to put in a story. Enjoy writing!
