Dear Sophie, Polly and Korta,
I've shown your letters to Emerald and Firetooth, and we decided to write one letter back to all three of you.
Korta, Emerald says you seem to like animals, and she likes the idea of playing netball. Only thing is, she doesn't know the rules. Could you send the rules to Libro in the information section, and Emerald could read them then.
Firetooth thinks Polly has got lots of animals. He wonders if you run a zoo!
Finally Sophie, you said that your fish lies at the top of the water motionless. Have you fed it recently? It doesn't sound very well.

Thanks for your letters,

Emerald, Firetooth and

Dear Justin,
I could not believe it when I read your letter. Am I real?? Of course I am real. Who do you think is writing this letter? And who do you think keeps the rest of the dragons under control. That takes a lot of effort!

I'm sorry but I am too busy to visit you, there is a lot of work to do here in The Cavern.

Thanks for writing,

The Mayor (76)

Dear Eden,
Thank you for your letter. I am pleased to tell you that all the dragons are behaving well (apart from Greentoes - who is just as cheeky as usual!).
There are so many dragons being named the moment I can't tell you the latest one to be named.

Bye,

The Mayor (76)

Dear Sarah,
Hello. There are so many dragons to name. This is why we thought that human children might like to help us.

I think I have heard of the book Eragon that you mention. I must ask Libro to find out more about it.

Dear Ebonie,
My my, two scrolls in the same day from Greentoes. I feel like a star!

I understand that you would like to know how long dragons live for. Well, most dragons live for around 250 of your human years, but it has been known for some dragons to live well until they were 300.

Do you really think I am cool and smart? Gosh, you'll make me blush!
