Jennifer Dussling grew up just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a kid, she always loved to read, but dreamed of being an artist, not an author. Later on, in college since she couldn't decide which she liked better, she studied both art history and English literature, which blended together perfectly for a career in children's books. The author of several easy-to-read books for children, including scary stories such as Creep Show and A Very Strange Dollhouse and nonfiction books such as Dorling Kindersley's Bugs, Bugs, Bugs and Slinky, Scaly Snakes, she also works full time as a children's book editor for Golden Books in New York City. She lives in Highland Park, New Jersey.
