By Declan, 11

“Hey you lot look what I found,” bellowed Declan. It was a green see-through bottle which was covered in slime, as gruesome as a slug crawling across your lip.

Meanwhile, Sophie and Tiffany were sitting in the dark, dismal, dirty cave. Suddenly they shouted, "we've found an animal lying in a puddle of blood."

Emma explained, "I have an idea. What we can do is write with its blood on a leaf and put the message in the bottle, S.O.S."

We replied,"We shall do that."

Then we went on to plan B, which was to build a raft for all of us. Later we found some wood.

I chopped some trees down for wood and I also made a surf board. (I kept that a secret from everyone.) When the raft was finished, we all ventured onto it and set sail. Everyone was hungry. Emma saw a passing boat. It came close and Emma climbed on board.

Then I rememberd my surf board, so I started sailing away from the raft. An hour later a boat saw me and took me to dry land, close to my home.

Sophie and Tiffany stayed on the raft and eventually floated to the U.K. From there, they got a train home.
I found out that Emma was also on her way home.

This is my story of how I survived my horrible experience.
