Sloth/Dragon
Texas Torture Chamber, Room 8

It was an ordinary day at the warehouse storage rooms, thought the worker as he casually loaded more boxes onto the dolly. He looked at his watch. Hmmm, he thought, time to break for lunch…. He finished wheeling away the crates, and headed towards the employees' room.
Going through the warehouse gave him an uneasy feeling in his stomach. Maybe he was just hungry. Maybe it was all of the dust that had collected here over time. Yet one thing made him queasy. It was the fact that it was quiet. In fact, no one was there.

He treaded uneasily toward the employees' lunchroom. He could now hear his every step, making a tiny echo each time his shoe hit the ground. He could have sworn that if he had thrown a feather on the ground, he would have been able to hear its impact clearly.

After what seemed like a long time to him (but in fact was only five minutes), he entered the room. It was very dark, and the air was still. In the dim light that the doorway provided for him, he thought he could make his way over to the light chain located on the ceiling fan.

He worked his way through the dark room, trying to work out where the fan was. Just then he heard something that scared him. It was breathing, but it wasn't a human breathing. He tried to listen more carefully for it, and then it stopped.

Shaking off this uneasiness, he figured he must be very close to the light chain now, if not right under it. He swatted around in the darkness, and at last his hand closed upon the chain that was the light switch. He tugged at it. The lights went back on.

Then he saw something that really made him scared. Not two feet from him stood a menacing dragon-like creature with four wings and a scorpion tail! He had many other characteristics to describe him, but the most important one was the sword that was the dragon's right hand.

The worker decided to get out of there and fast. He bolted for the door, but something jumped down from the ceiling fan and blocked his way.

It was…

A THREE-EYED SLOTH WITH A PICASSO-LIKE FACE!!!

It was definitely the most absurd and ugly thing the worker had ever seen before, and one of the most frightening, too, when it bared the razor sharp teeth in it's two mouths.

And then everything turned black.

He woke up.

He was lying in the middle of the floor, dizzy and disoriented. The sloth and the dragon were gone, and everything was back to normal. So it had to be a nightmare, but then he was frightened when he noticed his newly handless arm…..
