I have to say the best years of my life, 1964-1969, were spent at MGB. I made so many friends and have fond memories of the sports staff especially Mr Mee whom I had the great pleasure of meeting at a reunion last year, and he even remembered me after all these years!! Most people remember the cross country course around Wollaton Park which I ran many many times and at one stage held the course record (I wonder if it still stands?). Times do change and it's very sad to see the old girl being closed but one thing they can't do is take away our memories.
