I was in the Bilateral stream at MGB from 1957-1962. The Head Teacher was Miss M Lovatt and the Deputy Head was Mr R Peake. The Head boy in 1962 was Keith Seaton and the Head girl was Jennifer Brandon. The school was strict but fair and I always believed I had an excellent education.I often wander down memory lane and fondly recall the happy times at my old school when times seemed much more simple in spite of the lack of technology.

I am very sorry that the school is closing.
