The Christmas Ghosts

By Nardeep, 12

Chapter1
The strange visitor

One dark gloomy night there where some people talking, there were 2 days to Christmas and they just had a phone call. There was someone who wanted to stay for Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
"He can't stay it's too dangerous he's related to the Jones', you know what the Jones did to the Smiths," shouted James.
"Give him a chance he might survive there's more that meets the eye with the Jones," replied Jessica.
That night eerie noises occurred.
In the morning there was another phone call Jessica picked it up.
"Hello who's there," asked Jessica.
It's Jamie," replied Jamie "Can I stay the night then?"
"Sure of course you can," answered Jessica.

Chapter 2
The journey

Jamie climbed into his Peugeot 360 and the journey began. The journey was long and it was really fogy, but Jamie never stopped he was almost there when he heard a whisper.
"Get out of hetre Jamie it's too dangerous," whispered an eerie voice.
Just then the car crashed. A few hours later Jamie woke up in a house.
"Where am I," asked Jamie "And who are you!"
I'm Jessica and this is my house," replied Jessica.
"See the ghosts have already started to attack," whispered James to Jessica.

Chapter 3
The house

"This is my hous you wanted to stay here, you had an accident on the way, it was to fogy and the driver couldn't see and he crashed. I shall show you to your room," said Jessica.
"Ok I need to rest," replied Jamie "I will see you in the morning."
That night he had a nightmare about the house and he fell on to the floor. When he woke up he noticed it was only a nightmare. Then he went to bed and relaxed. He woke up next morning to the sound of a cockerel.

Chapter 4
The ghosts start to attack

Just then the lights turned of by themselves. Just then a man walked in.
"I am butler my name is Fred," said Fred.
"I'm the visitor Jamie," replied Jamie.
Someone walked in it was a girl.
"Who is that," he asked Fred.
"She is Alexis," answered Fred.
"Oh," replied Jamie.
Suddenly the lights turned of. It took them by surprise. In the end they all went downstairs. They sat down to breakfast. At the end they started a conversation. Suddenly a plate hit Jamie in the back an then in the face.
"Are you trying to get out of here or is this a joke," he asked them all.
"It's the children playing a trick on you; it takes them a while to get use to new people. They will settle down soon," answered James.
Just then one of them started to tell a story. It was Jessica. A long time ago there was a fight, a fight between your family and our family. Rumour says that our ghosts anyone in your family that comes here but I don't think it's true, it could be but it probably isn't. I'm not trying to scare you away it's just that I tell all of your family that comes here that story to. They say it's not true as well Jessica had said.

Chapter 5
The war begins

Just then in his mind Jamie heard a voice. The voice said the war has began again you have to end this. Go to your room look in the wardrobe really carefully and you will find a staff to use. You have to use this staff to protect yourself when you are atacked. You have know how to use it you shall remember when you pick the staff up; you were taught how to use it when you were little. Hurry the voice had said.
"I need to go to my room there is something I need to do," said Jamie.
Then he started to run to the room and started to search the wardrobe carefully and found a big staff. On it was a label, it said if you are about to die put this staff back where you found it and leave the label on it. Just then he heard a voice that said watch out and say the words. Just then Jamie shouted I am protected I am strong you can't hurt me. Just then a shield of light apeared and the ghost disappeared leaving behind a message. The message said you will not survive you will dielike the other's even though you protected yourself this time. Suddenly the voice came and whispered look at the back of the paper. Jamie looked at the back of the paper and it said you shall die but there now will be peace. Use that sentence when you find the the special paper to kill the ghosts. You will find a clue to how you will kill the ghosts, it is in the attic but be weary the ghost vist that place the most, they could kill you.

Chapter 6
Special Paper

Jamie ran to the attic straightaway to the find the paper. He asked where the attic was and set of search. The attic was hard to find and almost gave up, but just then he found the attic. Now he had to reach the string. It was quite high but he managed to reach it. He pulled it down with intensive care so he didn't disturb the ghosts; he had to be aware now he was there. He climbed up as quietly as a mouse. The cost was clear but he kept looking around to be sure. At the far end he saw a paper but should he run for it or go for it carefully. He decided to go carefully and he was of. He kept the staff ready to defend him self. Just when he reached the paper, a ghost apeared and he used the staff.
He shouted "I am protected and I am strong you can't hurt me."
And then the ghost ran away leaving yet another message and the message said we are going to give you a slow and painful death, you might protect yourself but you will still die. Until you learn how to use the spell you can't kill us. Jamie picked up the special paper and went down to his room still ready to use his staff.

Chapter 7
How does it work?

Jamie was thinking why won't it work or did it need a special person which could be him. Then the voice came back and answered that only the chosen one can use the spell, the died because they weren't chosen you may be the chosen one but even if you aren't you can still survive. The others didn't protect themseleves as good and the managed to lower their strenghth and they just managed to put back the staff. But you, you're something new you survived all the attacks so far and you are probably the chosen one. Just say the words.
"This is the spell, the spell of peace and you shall live no more," Shouted Jamie.
Just then there was a big flash of light. Then the eerie voice came back and said this had more impact than before you are definitely the chosen one.
"You are doomed," shouted the ghosts.
"Quick go to the attic," Shouted the voice.
The Jamie ran to the attic and jumped in. He was surrounded by ghosts.

Chapter 8
Destroying the ghosts

The ghost started to attack and Jamie couldn't stop them all but he did stop most of them.
"It is time to use the spell you are weak you have to hurry it's a matter of life or death," shouted the voice.
" This is the spell, the spell of peace and you shall live no more," shouted Jamie but it didn't work.
He shouted again it didn't work finally he shouted again and the ghosts disapeared. Suddenly there was a voice saying sorry we didn't know you didn't mean any harm we started the fight for no reason sorry we are now friends. At the same time James said that he will not survive by morning he wil be dead. Jamie was badly hurt if he hadn't beaten them he was sure to have died.

Chapter 9
The surprise

That morning they were all settling down to breackfast when suddenly Jamie came out and sat down to breackfast. The others were all surprised that he was alive even though he was badly injured.
"I have something to tell you it's along story but I'm sure you will enkoy it," said Jamie.
That was the end of the Christmas ghosts.

Stars

By Joshua, 11

I see stars in the night
None are dull and all are bright
Some so bright they shine in your head
Watching over you when you go to bed
All stars are calm, calm as the sea
Even might remind you of me

Christmas Time!!

By Laura, 11

Carol singers at your door,
Heavenly sounds they make,
Ringing of the doorbell,
In hope of cash or cake.
Snowflakes falling to the ground,
Tumbling down without a sound,
"Merry Christmas", cries ring out,
And good wishes to one and all,
Santa's coming soon!!

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!

The sun is round the sun is bright,
the moon is round the moon is white,
cities are big,
villages are small,
bungalows are short,
skyscrapers are tall,
the sea is blue the sea is wavy,
at night the sky is navy,
some people are fat some people are thin,
but we all have different colour skin

Light

By Joel, 12

Light is opposite to the night,
it is cheerful and happy,
light brings people day,
light brings people joy,
it always has for many years.

light is the opposite to night,
you can see in the light but not the night,
light is nothing like night.

light is the opposite to night,
light is the peaceful and night is murder!

light is the opposite to night,
everyone likes night,
but not night.

Friends

By Ellie, 12

Friends are always there for you,
Never go away from you,
Help you through every day,
You don't even have to pay,
Laugh and joke all the time,
Even sweeter than a lime,
Stick with you through everything,
Makes you dance and makes you sing,
You never want to loose them,
They never want to loose you,
Friends mean so much to me,
And to your heart they have the key!

Bonfire night poem

By Daniel, 11

Bonfire, Bonfire burning bright
Lighting up the autumn night
flames so big they touch the sky
i look at them they hurt my eyes

Screams from the rides, the smell of food
puts me in a really good mood
fireworks so bright flying around
as the last bit of fire burns to the ground.

Bonfire Nights

By Sarah, 11

Bonfire Nights
Big bright fire
October time as well as
November time
Fearsome flames
Infusiastic
Rarely lit only if a special occasion
Enjoyable things and rides to do and go on

Nighttime only
Important to most people
Gangs of people crowding
Happy and sad faces
Terrible to light in front of children
Sensible people only to run it

But when mum tells him off he starts to sigh.
When its nighttime, I stay up late,
When my brother leaves his veg on the plate.

Autum

By Chelsie, 11

Autumn, the leaves fall
brown,orange and red

The trees grow more like twigs
losing all their beauty

The woods don't seem as dark
because there is no shade

Nights are getting longer
days are getting shorter

It even rains leaves
when there is a slight breeze

The weather is getting colder
wind,rain and fog

As I sit in my room
watching winter approach.

Five little pumpkins sitting on the wall

By Jade, 11

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,
The first one said,
"Oh my, it's getting late."
The second one said,
"But we don't care."
The third one said,
"I see witches in the air."
The fourth one said,
"Let's run, and run, and run."
The fifth one said,
"Get ready for some fun."
Then whoosh went the wind,
and out went the lights,
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!

Scary halloween

By Melanie, 11

Anything could be just around the corner,
Maybe you should go and join her,
Join the witch that is lingering,
The witch, the witch that keeps on fingering,
Fingering everything that she can see,
All of a sudden she can see you wandering,
From house to house trick or treating,
Bags full of goodies,
Your wearing your big thicks hoodies,
When you see a shadow in the night sky,
You think why oh why oh whydoes the lingering witch have to follow me,
The witch who's name is Edith,
Snatched you up and next thing you now your facing a mirror and a frog,
Then the witch strikes and you see just a frog infront of the mirror,
Then you realise that you are the fool of Halloween!!!!!!!!

the turtle

By Sarah , 11

Floating gracefully and effortlessly through the ocean,
Flying through the sea,
consuming bright coloured coral on the reef floor.
Wise like Mozart the four-year-old genius,
He is a king tall and proud,
Like the first iron bridge hard and strong.
He is the turtle ready to rule the sea.
Tiredly he swims to the normal world
for a glance and a breath,
until going back down
to the world of the blue.

A hot summer day

By Rukhsana, 11

It's really hot, don't you think?
Now I'll think I'll have a drink.
Summers back and ain't you glad?
Now's our chance to be really bad.
Mums and Dads with fans all out,
Were alone, no doubt.
Sisters, brothers thinking they're saints,
And your alone with all your mates.
All you see is lemonade,
No need to worry about the school grade.
Chill relax do whatever you please,
Act like a star, beg on your knees!
All the door bells go DING!
All these joys that SUMMER brings!

The scary side of christmas

By Rukhsana, 11

Somethings flying? It's a bee!,
Somethings by the christmas tree!
I hear a whisper, I hear a scream,
Is there something on that window beam?
Theres a creunch and theres a creak,
Now I'm being totally freaked!
The trees just fell, the lights gone off,
And suddenly I hear a cough.
In the mirror? I need a wee,
Oh my gosh I think it's me!!!

Scary Mary

By Aaron, 12

Some people say
there's a monster named Mary
And they say
she is quite scarey
Mary sucks your blood
and eats your toes
No-one knows
where Mary goes
She is wrinkly and very old
and they say she's started to mould
She lives in the woods
where the trees are green
in her dark cave
that has never been seen
If you enter the woods
you are never seen again
so keep away
to avoid any pain
So don't go down
to the woods at night
Mary is lurking
And she might bite

The midnight owl

By Jordanna, 10

Have you ever seen the midnight owl,
Flying through the night,
He only comes out once a year,
So he may give you a fright.

His eyes are like the glistening stars,
His wings are like the moon,
And if it's the right time of year,
You may see him soon.

Have you ever seen the midnight owl,
Flying through the night,
He only comes out once a year,
So he may give you a fright.
