When I looked at the title of the book I thought I wouldn't like it. The book has three main characters Carlie, Harvey and Thomas J. and the children are in care for all different reasons but I thought the characters were not described a lot. Sometimes you got stuck on some of the words but there is a few good chapters. The end of the book ends in a cliff hanger but in the end it is quit a good book and I would like to see if there is another book of the pinballs is coming out.

'My Guinea Pig is Innocent is one of the best books I've ever read! Every time when we get told reading time is finished I always want to read on, because we always stop at the exciting parts. The book is about a boy called Joe who recently moved and is getting bullied by a boy called Bruce. One day after school Joe came home as his parents were going over to Bruce's house .When they went over Joe went round the back garden with Bruce and he sold Joe a guinea-pig worth millions! I'd give this book 10/10 because it's a really good book. I think this book is for both boys and girls. (May 2008)

The Pinballs is not a very good book because it isn't very exciting as well. I really think there should have been some pictures to show what the characters look like especially the three main characters Harvey, Carlie and Thomas.j. I think it would be suitable for ages 7-12.So overall I would give it 4/10 (May 2008)

The Pinballs has a very weird story. It is about a girl called Carlie, a boy who's called Harvey and a boy called Thomas J. The kids went to a foster home because of there parents. They get Harvey an amazing present for his birthday. If you put this book into a graph it would be up and down it's that confusing!! They have great adventures and I recommend it for 9+.

The Pinballs is based on three children who have to go to a foster home. Harvey got there when his dad ran over his legs. Thomas got there when the Benson twins broke their hips. Carlie who was a bad tempered girl got there after she threatened her dad. It's an emotional book it has sad bits in it. I would recommend it to all ages. rating 4/10 (May 2008)

This is a story about a boy called Joe who just moved into a new school and has a guinea pig called Pickwick. The bully Bruce sold Pickwick to Joe and now Curtis wants him back because he is worth millions
It is a book for nine and over. Once you start reading it you really want to read more. The pictures inside are like cartoons. The words are normal sized and should be easy to read. I would give this book 9 out of 10 because the start isn't very interesting. I think this book is for both boys and girls.

My Guinea-pig is Innocent is about Joe who has a guinea-pig called Pickwick. Joe bought Pickwick from his next door neighbour Bruce Gibson but Bruce wants Pickwick back.

Bruce tries to steal Pickwick but he doesn't manage. Joe takes Pickwick to hospital when he goes to see his gran. Pickwick escapes and bumps into Bruce who has Tuckers disease and goes straghit into a ward. Luckily Joe catches Pickwick and goes home.(May 2008)

The plot is a different sort of book it was strange and unpredictable with surprises in every page. The plot changes near the end of the book.

Joe is a new boy in his school and he is being bullied by Bruce (aka Bruiser). Joe likes to draw cartoons and is normally popular but Bruce has turned everybody against him and his only friend his cousin Mark. Until Bruce sells him his brother's guinea- pig. Joe calls it Pickwick. Curtis Bruce's brother wants it back but Joe doesn't want to give it away!

My guinea-pig is innocent is a great book for kids of all ages. It is written by a lady called Margaret McAllister. It's the sort of book that is exiting, funny, sad, and happy and it makes you want to read on. It's about a boy called Joe, he has just moved to a new school and is being bullied by a boy named Bruce. Bruce has an older brother called Curtis; he is just as bad as Bruce. Bruce and Curtis sell guinea-pigs and Bruce sold one to Joe. Joe has a cousin called Mark and they are best friends. Their granny is in hospital. When they go there they see Bruce and Curtis.

I really enjoyed this book about Joe (the main character). It all starts off when Joe moves house, he misses his best friend Mark who is also his cousin. He is miserable until he buys his new guinea pig 'Pickwick'. Joe is being bullied at school but always looks forward to seeing Pickwick. Bruce the school bully and Joe catch Tuckers' disease but Pickwick saves the day (and Joe and Bruce.)This book is quite easy to read so I think it is suitable for reasonably young children but I think the storyline is suitable for all! I would rate this book four stars! (May 2008)

My Guinea Pig is Innocent is an ok book. The main characters are Pickwick, Joe, Bruce and Curtis. It is a good book because it's easy to read and I like the pictures but I think the book could have been a bit more exciting. They could have added some more characters or made it a bit longer. Out of ten I would give it 8. That is my book review on My Guinea-Pig is Innocent!
